Aegeon

Description He is an old man to be certain, bent and wrinkled by time and weather. His face is wrinkled at the eyes, his cheeks are somewhat sunken, and his nose is long and thin. White hair frames his face, and is unkempt at its shoulder-length. Most intriguing about this old man are his eyes: time has not muddled their crystal blue clarity; they are quick, and likely very observant. Though old, he does not have the impression of a dotard in any way.

His clothes are probably as old as he is: brown and tattered voluminous robes he wears, and his hood is drawn up over his head, so only shocks of his white hair are visible. A cane held in his right hand is used to aid in his walking. His hands are covered mostly by the long sleeves of his robes, as are his feet by the dirty ends of the robe. By the looks of him, he probably smells as bad as he looks. Few strangers seem to want to find out, judging by the distance they tend to afford him.

Background Probably just an old man with no friends or living family. Most likely a Tenigul native. Nobody really knows. The truth is that he was a famed Rose Knight of Calnas in his younger days, and is only half human. He is also Half-Elf. He is nearly a thousand years old, and has fought in the greatest wars of the last millenia: the so-called Great War (during which Anadel and Tarindal, legendary Kings of Man and Elf, rode great silver dragons to battle against Raughir), and later the Last Rift War (in which Raughir was finally slain). He now uses his vast experience and training to train the secretive Order of the Broken Sword, and he is the High Paladin of the Order of the Dragon. The truth of his past is known to very, very few. Even many Swordsmen only know him as a kindly old man with knowledge and wisdom beyond their comprehension. Only those Swordsmen inducted into the Order of the Dragon know his true identity.
Rumors Just an old man, by all accounts. Few speak to him on the street, and he speaks to few. Very little is known about him, and in a busy city like Tenigul, there are many old men about whom very little is known.
