Aristus

Description Here is a kindly looking man of obvious Northern descent; he stands at nearly six and a half feet in height, and his physical structure is strong and well-built. His hair is curiously blond, cut short, and with occasional streaks of grey. His face, handsome enough, is bearded with short blond hair; his eyebrows are neither thin nor thick, and blond as well; beneath them are bright blue eyes, wrinkeld at the corners with lines of smiles as well as of hardship. A far-distant trace of nobility can be seen in his face, but it is indeed far-off, and unassumed.

He wears loose-fitting garments of high quality and native Teniguese make over his sculpted frame. His free-flowing tunic is cinched at the waist by a leather belt, from which hangs a short sheath holding a straight-bladed dagger. His trousers are loose, and on his feet are sandals that are scuffed and marked with dust of many miles of travel.

Background He moved here a few decades ago, and set up a store selling Durnalian goods, which he has operated ever since. Apparently he has a nice income; his home is in the very well-off Durnalian Sector near the Embassy, and the building is entirely furnished of Durnalian woods and stones. His history prior to coming to Teingul is uncertain; he olitely refuses to speak of it when he is asked. Occasionally he will leave town on business, always to return with new and interesting goods from afar. He has never joined the Merchant Consortium, but his association with the Durnalian Embassy has kept him out of harm's way so far. Interestingly, he has never married to anybody's knowledge.
Rumors He is an upstanding citizen of Tenigul, and a Durnalian expatriate. He owns his own store in the Durnalian sector of town, and lives in the apartments above the store. It is a very nice place, and he probably has a nice sum of money. He does not socialize very often, and generally prefers to spend time at work or at home. He is known to occasionally entertain guests at night, but he never has loud parties that draw complaints. A pretty boring person, really. Nice, but boring.
