Perizan Karatri

Description He stands just over six feet in height, and he is athletically thin. His skin is olive in complexion, his short-cut hair is glossy black, his sharp eyes are a brilliant green, and his handsome face is unscarred and shaved so closely so as to seem completely hairless.

His uniform is highly decorated with medals and isignia which must denote his rank, and it is crimson and gold: the dress uniform of an honored officer of the Akarian Royal Army. It fits him well, but not too tightly - Tenigul is no place for clothing which does not allow the skin to breathe. His boots are shiningly black polished leather which come to mid-calf, and have about a 1/2 inch heel on them.

From a matching black belt hangs a matching black scabbard, from which protrudes the beautifully decorated handle of what must be a fantastically expensive Akarian cavalry saber.

Background 457: born to Lord and Lady Karatri, second child. His sister is older.
472: at age 15, he fights alongside his father in the battle against the Hida seige. He is decorated for bravery multiple times.
475: given medals from his daring raid against Linsaki's armies in the West as Captain of the King's Cavalry.
476: Secretly (at the time) infiltrates a plot to kill the King on his wedding day. Saves the wedding brilliantly. Hida clan gives him tons of praise, as does the King. For this, he is appointed to the King's Royal Guard, but he declines in favor of helping 'fix' the City Guard.
478 Becomes an officer in the City Guard, and crime in the city is reportedly very low.
482: 5 years now as a City Guardsman, he has been instrumental in decreasing crime in the city. His skill with words, and the Durnalian language, has earned him a place among the King's High Ambassadors.
Rumors Heir to a powerful, ancient Akarian Family, war hero turned policeman, master duelist, skilled ambassador. And only age 25. Perizan Karatri has made quite a name for himself, but this can only be expected of the honored Karatri heir. With such credentials, the rumors today are primarily among the wealthy who wonder whose daughter he will choose for marriage. Reports of his flings are rarely solidly based on facts, but it is known that he has been seen with a certain Durnalian Lady, daughter of an Ambassador of Durnalis, quite frequently, and at rare hours at that. Some consider it akin to treason, but the more astute realize how his association with her, and even future marriage perhaps, will lead to prosperity and honor for his family and for himself, and for the city and the nation. Since she is rumored not to be as attractive as other Teniguese women, many think that this is his father's idea.
