Sounds like a plan, Doomulus! Just make sure to come back here and report during that day of shattered productivity!

This is released today! (For PC and XBOX 360).

Gamespot gave it a 9.5. Claims PC version is the best, followed by PS3, then XBOX 360.

So how is it going? Had too many games that were awesome to look at, but boring to play after a few hours.

I liked the old Bioware games... so I guess I'll give it a try.

Wow, PS3 version is better than 360 version? That's a huge surprise to me, since BioWare is a PC developer. Supposed to be tons easier for them to move to 360 than PS3.

Sounds like yet ANOTHER game to go onto the must play list. WAAAY too many on there now: Uncharted (1 &) 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Heavy Rain, God of War 1, 2 & 3.... geez.

I have heard that the main difference between the 360 and PS3 is graphics. PS3 is a little better. I got it for PC myself. It plays like NWN and Baldur's gate on PC, and I hear it plays a little like KOTOR on the console.

Ah, interesting to know the differences. Still surprising though. I was expecting the PS3 version to be the worst, by far, since BioWare was doing the PS3 version themselves and it is the first PS3 project they did.

I've never played KOTOR on a console. How much different was it from the PC version? Obviously going to be significantly different without the mouse. I'm guessing left stick for movement and right stick for camera?

No idea, really, as far as the KOTOR PC version.

This game plays very similar to NWN and Baldur's Gate on the PC, though.

I might pick up the 360 version of it, but I need to get MUA2 first. I just finished Star Wars: Force Unleashed, which was a great game.

How much playtime will DA have? Will it be like Mass Effect with about 30-35 hours (required missions) and up to about 40-50 hours for all missions?

I hear 50 hours for a quick play through.

I played for 5 hours last night and I'm listed at 3% complete.

I heard 50-60 for going quick too. ~180-200 to get every single side quest and all the different character storylines.

I'm about to head out to Wal-Mart and pick up the PC version of this. I hope it's good!
