Since it's more or less confirmed my character will be Elohim, do you want me to start posting ideas on their culture? I already have a few. And do you want me to post them here, or start a separate thread, as with the dwarves?

V I'm wondering If I might be either an Elohim with the infernal sorc taint, who is under the watch or tutelage of the Elohim. Perhaps one of their secrets and Muskrat can be my "guardian".

Just to post some character preferences:
race: human. Badruk, Calabim and Malakim all sound great.
class: Rogue, Fighter, perhaps Ranger or Barbarian.

I kind of like the idea of my character keeping watch over an infernal sorcerer. My character would be uneasy with the whole thing, but I like the idea. The question is why the Elohim elders would send out an infernal sorcerer they don't entirely trust on a major quest. Perhaps the infernal taint gives Wayloss's character access to some sort of knowledge that no one else has, knowledge that the elders see as essential to the struggle against Mulcarn?

I was hoping to pair up folks, and though the infernal sorcerer from Braduk was a neat idea, but if you are talking about an Elf Infernal, we'll have to work out some history.
Perhaps he was in fact a Thelonite of a rather important elven family, and was sent to be kept and eye on with the Elohim as a favor among old friends. So there he is, elven infernal sorcerer among the Elohim.

okay, I don't really get the picture which pairs there are now.
But I need that information to know where my character could fit in... so I hope someone can help me figure out.
-Grim + Eanwulf as dwarves, that's clear.
-Muskrat as Elohim + Wayloss?
-MV as Braduk + ??
and what about Trog? Is he still in?

There can be a tripple if we need it. I'm not 100% sure either o really leaving the pairing up to folks, the dwarves are certainly a pair. And if Muskrat and Wayloss want to pair up, okay, that means MV, TRogdor and Paradoxa round out the power team of three.

Thanks, V.
Yeah for the power team
Braduk is fine for me as well, since MV is already planning with that.
Some more detailed character ideas then (in order of preference):
Former street urchin (Rogue), used to struggle along in Braduk before the Fall, now struggles along to escape the Pits. Driven by visions from Junil's Archangel to aim for something greater than just survival?
Former Town guard/temple guard (Fighter), still trying to uphold order after everything collapsed.
Barbarian (perhaps even Half Orc?). Converted by Mr. Paladin or something like that. A dumb but loyal hulk with a short fuse, basically.

Its "Miss" Paladin. Your idea for being converted could work, as my background is being based upon the fact that just after the fall Ellsbeth led a group of children/ teeners out from the fringes of the pit, with the guidance of Junal's Arch angel...

Okay, sorry, Miss Paladin then
So the street urchin would work as well, by being one of those kids.
The guard could also fit in, I think, by helping her with that task.

On a side note, the Archangel storyline works, but...
My picture would be the Archangel musters some folks that are on the fringe and survive without being actually in Hell. Then he actually enters hell to lead the majorty of the Braduk out of hell battling all the way. Eventually (generations from now) they emergy from the Pit as the Bannor, a new people, lead out by the archangel.
So those of you who don't actually fall into Hell proper likely would recieve some inspiration as the archangle passes into hell, but after that would be on your own.

I could deal with the Thelonite raised/sent to the Elohim. Or perhaps the Elohim requested me to be sent to them after developing magical talents. They know of the corruption in the family line and needed to "keep tabs" on me?
Gotta work on naming and stuff perhaps write up a how my family was corrupted.
